Background

The EWS Educational Trust (EWSET) has as its core function the remit to help people with a close family link to the UK rail freight industry to achieve academic excellence, to develop their creative, sporting or artistic talents.

Brief

EWSET wanted to modernise their look and feel to engage new candidates but continue to be relevant to its existing audience.

Solution

We created a series of vibrant approachable characters and animations to help spread their campaign message and to populate their newly branded website. Applications have since tripled.

We wanted to create a simplistic style that would be was easily reproduced and recognisable.

The characters became the focal point of the website, highlighting the simple way in which candidates can apply.
